Why did I choose to study again? I wanted to learn and acquire new skills.
But most of all, I wanted to return back to the workforce.
In my case: I have become more confident & less shy. I’m now more extroverted and much less an introvert.
I’d like to thank you for helping me to graduate and I hope the future brings many more students.

Jennelle Packer Diploma of Management - BSB51107

I definitely recommend the course to others. It’s a chance for everybody to be able to do something.
Nobody has an excuse at all to not graduate doing this course.

I’ve always wanted to do more with my career
but I didn't have a lot of time between full-time work and being a mother.
It was great to be able to work with the trainers at my own pace and go with my own flow.

Genuine temporary entrant (GTE)

The genuine temporary entrant requirement (GTE) is an integrity measure to ensure that the Student visa Programme is used as intended and not used by international students as a way of maintaining de facto permanent residency in Australia.

In order to be granted a student visa, applicants must satisfy the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) that they have a genuine intention to stay in Australia temporarily, for the purpose of study.

In assessing the GTE requirements, DIBP will consider the requirements set out in Ministerial Direction 53. This requires DIBP to be satisfied that the student visa applicant genuinely intends to stay in Australia temporarily having regard to:

- The applicant’s circumstances in their home country

- The applicant’s potential circumstances in Australia

- The value of the course to the applicant’s future

- The applicant’s immigration history

- If the applicant is a minor – the intention of a parent, legal guardian or spouse of the applicant

- Any other relevant matters
